Acquisitions put enterprises into new strategic positions and can substantially change the rules in the market place for the benefit of the acquiror. In addition growth is in general the strongest driver for enterprise value. However, as it is well known, acquisitions can also destroy considerable value if ill-conceived or not properly implemented.

We support mid-sized and large companies to conceptualize and implement acquisition strategies, typically on an international scale (see references). We thereby may lead - depending on the client's need - the whole process from strategy definition to implementation planning, or support the client during one of the phases.

With our extensive experience we know the factors to successfully create and implement acquisition strategies, and we have a clearly structured, robust and flexible process.

Depending on the situation, growth strategies can also be implemented by joint ventures or by the establishment of contractual cooperations and/or licenses. We usually integrate these aspects in our broader acquisition projects and also support our clients in these types of deal structures.
